Organic Cane Sugar

Sugar is naturally an emollient, a mild emulsifier, and a humectant, meaning that it draws moisture from its surroundings into the skin and helps to retain any moisture the skin absorbs. Products which contain sugar and its derivatives actually hydrate the complexion and help to keep moisture in the skin leaving it a smooth and plump. Sugar is a natural source of glycolic acid, an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that permeates the deepest layers of the skin breaks down the “glue” that binds skin cells together. This stimulates cell regeneration and encourages new skin cells and thus younger-looking skin. Glycolic acid can be used to treat sun-damaged and aging skin.

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is made up of medium chain fatty acids which help to reduce dryness and allow your skin to retain moisture.
