Shea Butter

Shea butter works like an emollient. It might help soften or smooth dry skin. Shea butter also contains substances that can reduce skin swelling. This might help treat conditions associated with skin swelling such as eczema. Shea butter has been used as a cosmetic ingredient for centuries. Its high concentration of vitamins and fatty acids — combined with its easy-to-spread consistency — make it a great product for smoothing, soothing, and conditioning your skin.

Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera contains 20 out of the 22 key amino acids humans require as well as enzymes such as amylase, alkaline phosphatase, cellulase and catalase that work to reduce excess inflammation and fight the signs of aging. It must be noted that Aloe Vera is also rich in salicylic acid, adding to its antibacterial and anti inflammatory capabilities, which is why it is typically added to burn creams. Aloe Vera is also rich in naturally occurring Mucopolysaccharides, which act on a physiological level to bind moisture into the skin, while stimulating fibroblast, to raise levels of collagen production. Aloe Vera is a powerful additive in cosmetics because it helps delicate, thin skin to retain moisture and increase elasticity over time.

Calendula

Calendula oil is a natural oil extracted from marigold flowers (Calendula officinalis). It's often used as a complementary or alternative treatment. Calendula oil has antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties that might make it useful in healing wounds, soothing eczema, and relieving diaper rash. Chamomile
